The Education Center For Tattoo art, was founded in 2009 by Ingrid De Quint, who has been a professional tattooist for over ten years. Since beginning with the courses, the center has won acclaim from it's many students and press alike, training many students who have gone on to set up their own tattoo studios.

Owner and teacher
at the school:
Ingrid De Quint
Being the first recognised center for tattoo training in Europe, Ingrid says that her school takes an important and necessary step in continuing to raise the profile and quality of the tattoo industry in Europe
"The most important thing for me, is that my students leave the courses with a good understanding of all the steps necessary to succeed as a professional tattooist. From the big things such as how to keep the equipment clean and functioning and how to create a good looking tattoo, to the smaller things such as protecting yourself and the client from fatigue, and how to make your mark as a tattooist once you leave the course."
Whilst the school itself is based in East Flanders (Belgium), Ingrid is fluent in both Dutch, English and French. Students from all over the world are welcome to train at the center, and if you mail us, Ingrid will be happy to talk to you in more detail about accommodation and travel. The school is situated in the center of Antwerp, at a small walk from the central station, and you can enjoy the various shops, restaurants and entertainments of Antwerp during your stay. Our center has a list of recommended bed and breakfasts ready for your convenience.
The school is furnished with all of the necessary practice materials and equipment for you to train with, and we have also established a good reputation amongst the local people of Antwerp who are interested in becoming a live model. This relationship has provided the school with a steady stream of willing live models for students to train on, and of course the participants get a good value tattoo in return.
Once your training is complete, the school also allows successful participants to further work on the premises, and take private customers whilst you look for a more permanent tattoo career.
